“I just took a short trip to Joshua Tree to grab some much needed R&R with some friends.”

"I just took a short trip to Joshua Tree to grab some much needed R&R with some friends. It really felt like a breath of fresh air after being cooped up in my room for months, just working at home and forgetting what being in nature felt like. Do you know how relaxing the sound of complete silence is? You don’t get that in the city, and let me tell you, it's wonderful. I even got to see a whole sky full of stars at night."

“It's given me a new sense of appreciation for the places that are right in front of me.”

"Local travel has given me the opportunity to discover hidden gems within places I never bothered to look at before. It’s given me a new sense of appreciation for the places that are right in front of me and has forced me to slow down."

“Here are some ways I find relaxation:”

"Early morning tea, waking up with no alarm clock, taking long hot showers while doing a full routine that includes a head-to-toe scrub and a hydrating hair mask, following no itinerary/calendar, moving more slowly and intentional, making to-do lists and setting goals, late night conversations with close friends, film photography because it allows me to be patient and let go of ‘perfection'."
