I have a couple of favourite destinations. The Amalfi coast or the Balearic Islands. They both are on the coast and have incredible beaches and good food!

“Where do you look for inspiration? ”

I look for inspiration everywhere. Whether it’s in other people I meet, at galleries, visiting new places or Pinterest and Instagram. I think that if you seek inspiration you can find it anywhere.

“What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?”

The best advice I've been given is from my Dad. He says to have a positive attitude and be nice to everyone.

“Your favourite quote? ”

"It’s from a poem by William Blake. To see a World in a Grain of Sand. And a Heaven in a Wild Flower. Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand. And Eternity in an hour."

Peggy Gou and the African Giant album by Burna Boy. They are both my summer dance vibe I go to.

“We recently worked with you for our collection, Memoire. Do you have any highlight memories from this trip?”

The highlight was swimming in the sea in Cape Town, even though we had realised that no one else was in the water as the locals knew that that area was known as a shark hotspot. It felt so refreshing. Another highlight was visiting Babylonstoren, it is the most incredible serene Wineland landscape and all the food we ate was grown on their land. It was the first time I visited South Africa and working with the sweetest team made this trip one of my favourites.

“What was your favourite scene/style from our shoot together?”

My favourite scene is the one of the geese walking behind me on the bridge. The geese only go across that bridge once in the morning and evening and so we had one chance to get that shot and make it look like they were following me across.

“What has 2020 taught you?”

2020 has taught me that the future is never as you may think it will pan out and so to work hard and take risks in the moment as you never know what will happen later.
