“What to do:”

Be sure to pack a book & find an umbrella as a holiday in Byron Bay is an opportunity to spend time relaxing by the ocean, planning your day around what meal is next and exploring local stores.

“Where to go:”

It's always an excellent idea to watch the sunrise from Belongil and the sunset from the Pass. I recommend booking a massage at Comma and sauna at Nimbus to unwind and truly get into the holiday spirit. Then pop around the corner to Braer in the industrial area, for fresh flowers. This is the sweetest florist that shares space with Daily Counter who serve amazing bagels & coffee.

“Where to eat:”

Barrio for both breakfast, coffee and lunch, The Hut for a long table lunch, be sure to order the banquet as the food just keeps coming. Raes, of course, for a cocktail and the best fries in town. Ciao Mate in Bangalow serves the most delicious pasta & pizza. Kouzina for a greek feast, this set menu changes each week.

“What to wear:”

I love how each of these pieces can be worn again and again, either at the beach with a bikini or out for lunch. This yellow set is a favourite, so bright and happy.

“Where to sleep:”

For a weekend away I recommend staying at The Sunseeker hotel, recently renovated with a pool and in a great location close to town. If it is a special occasion I suggest staying at Raes. This is a true luxury experience, a stay that feels so special with every attention to detail and just a stone's throw from Wategos beach.
