“At times, I wonder what it’s like to be Italian at heart.”

"Being exposed to the world's cultures daily in my work is natural. At times, I wonder what it’s like to be Italian at heart. Most of all, I wonder what foreigners think of Italians. Being an Italian, we are full of emotions as we live our daily life with extreme exaggerations, filled with positivity and also negativity yet there isn’t a middle ground. It’s intense, but it’s our way of life."

“With this constant surge of emotions , Italians live with a sole purpose, which is to passionately seek for happiness in all aspects of life.”

"Italians have deep roots in Latin, hence are defined by acts of emotions with every decision and action driven by what we feel and how we feel at that moment in time. So if we dine at a restaurant, it’s not about the plates or the wine that excites us, but it’s how we feel during the course of the dinner. With this constant surge of emotions , Italians live with a sole purpose, which is to passionately seek for happiness in all aspects of life. So the meter of happiness is not wealth, or the ability to flaunt it, but the strong desire to continue to fulfill ones’ emotions."

“The home is open to everyone, and Italians treat them as family, starting from the dinner table.”

"This translates to our openness and kindness to the world. Probably stemming from the historic Mediterranean roots, at crossroads of interchangeable cultures, Italians have been opening up to people from every corner of the world, no matter how distant. Welcoming them with open arms, and embracing any differences. The guest is very honoured and everything is offered and shared. The home is open to everyone, and Italians treat them as family, starting from the dinner table."

“ The combination is what the Italian soul is made of.”

"Although there is a divide when it comes to living life passionately and adapting freely, but when the two comes together, the combination is what the Italian soul is made of. It feeds into creativity, and over time, this creativity contributes to how we solve practical problems of life."

“This way of living defines the true Italian”

"This way of living defines the true Italian, for every Italian carries and brings with it into the world. Even outside of Italy, it is apparent everywhere as Italians display the distinct warmth in welcoming any community."
