Returning to the island brings a familiar shift in pace - slower days, simple rituals and time spent close to the sea. Together, they share a window into the life they’ve made there.

ON LOCATION

What is it about Mallorca that keeps drawing you back?

The incredible mountains and hiking paths, the variety of the island, you can spend the day surrounded by nature without seeing anyone, but you can also visit Palma, which has everything to offer. The clear waters, local food, and an international community are also a big part of what keeps drawing me back.

DAILY RITUALS

Are there any rituals or routines you return to when you’re here to help you slip back into the rhythm of island life?

I love buying local produce and supporting the farmers by visiting the farmers’ market. It immediately reconnects me with the island and with what’s currently in season.

ISLAND DAYS

Talk us through your perfect day on the island, from morning to evening.

Waking up and walking outside barefoot to greet our donkey, Bolo, and the sheep, then driving down for a quick dip at our local swimming cove before the heat sets in. Having an iced herbal infusion at Hotel Corazón, then coming back home to cook a late breakfast or lunch some veggies from our garden. Spending some time working on my naturopathy studies at home, followed by a siesta, then heading down into town for the best ice cream at "Island Ices". Finally, finishing the day by watching the sun set over the ocean from our little boat.

SUMMER DRESSING

What does your summer wardrobe look like in Mallorca? What are the pieces you find yourself living in?

The lightest pieces possible for the Mallorcan heat. I live in my swimsuit in summer and love to cover it up with dresses, skirts, and sarongs that I have collected on my travels.
