“Where to swim: ”

If you are staying near Santanyi, a must-see swim spot is Cala Llombards. A small paradise with turquoise waters and white sandy shores in the town of Santanyi, make a plan to spend a day at the beach followed by a dinner in the bustling town surrounding. Some additional beaches we suggest exploring around this area would be the Cala s’Alumina, Cala Pi and Cala Esmeralda.

For a sandy white beach, we recommend exploring Cala Anguila, a small swimming bay on the eastern coast of Mallorca. With clear blue waters, rustic cliff edges and a beachside kiosk this is the perfect beach to spend a day with your favourite summer playlist.

For a beach-to-bar experience plan for a swim at the Gran Folies Beach Club. With picturesque umbrella-covered sunbeds overlooking glistening waters, you can plan to enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired lunch at their restaurant while sipping on a refreshing cocktail.

“What to do:”

One of the largest of the Balearic Islands there are an abundance of ways to spend your days. From strolling the winding streets of the city-centre Palma, exploring the historically rich architecture, indulging in one of the many amazing restaurants or lazing seaside on a beautiful enclosed beach there is something for everyone. If you are wanting to include some historical activities within your trip we recommend making time to see the beautiful, gothic-inspired Palma De Mallorca Cathedral or the Royal Palace of La Almudina. Another must-do activity when visiting Mallorca is spending some time at one of the many markets available across the island. Here you can try fresh foods and street-style tapas, discover the range of spices and specialities customary to the area and find handmade souvenirs to take home with you.

“Where to eat:”

When visiting Mallorca it's essential to immerse yourself in the Spanish cuisine and discover the local Mallorquin food that this island is renowned for. Common dishes will contain pork, fresh fish and vegetables with the Spanish flavours we’ve come to love. Some traditional dishes to try would be Sobrasada which is paprika-based pork sausage, Ensaïmada which is a light and flaky round pastry and Arrow Brut which is Mallorca’s own take on the classic Paella.

For a meal with a view - Ca's Patró March. Perched above the blue waters of Cala Deia, this is a go-to spot for a seaside meal of fresh seafood and glistening waters.

For a quaint courtyard lunch - Sa Vinya. Be immersed in the beauty of mandarin trees, flowers and a view of the Tramontana mountains while you enjoy a range of delicious Mediterranean-style dishes.

For a day spent at the beach, we suggest: Style our Hollis Bikini Top and Nomi Bikini Bottoms back with the matching Playa Scarf in La Costa print for an effortless and cohesive sun-kissed look.

While exploring the cobbled stone streets of the town: Wear the easy-wearing Francois Pant back with the matching Latia Top in Sicilian Blue. Style back with your favourite chunky sandals and a woven bucket bag to pack in all your souvenirs.
