Steph Olejn In Joshua Tree

We caught up with Faithfull Girl Steph Olejn to hear about her recent travels to the dreamy, deserts of Joshua tree, the holiday staples you would find in her suitcase and the next stop on her travel bucket list.

“You recently travelled to Joshua Tree, tell us about this experience:”

We love joshua tree & have visited quite a few times. This trip we had some very unique weather and it actually snowed the days before & after the trip. This is pretty unheard of for this time of year, so we weren’t expecting it! Nevertheless, we made the best of it and had a totally different experience than we’ve ever had in the desert and it turned out to be one of our favorite trips there.

“Your must see, do and eat for those planning their own trip there:”

Must see - Joshua Tree national park. It’s stunning.

Must do - Hike in the park, stay at a cozy Airbnb and unwind, live music at one of the many saloons, vintage & thrift shop (lots of good finds out here)

Must eat - Coffee in the am & cocktails in the evening at Mas e Menos

Dinner at The Copper Room, Giant Rock Meeting Room or Red Dog Saloon

Comfy, adventurous, yet timeless 💕

“What are some holiday wardrobe staples that always make their way into your suitcase?”

Oversized button up shirts, sarongs, bikinis, a handful of basics that I can style up or down with anything & fun accessories to play with.

“The vacation song you played on repeat would have to be:”

We always listen to old country music and rock & roll in the southwest desert and this time Going to California by Led Zeppelin was a real feel good song for me.

“Where is next on your travel bucket list?”

I haven’t been able to think about traveling too much as we just moved to California this month however, we are seriously craving somewhere tropical! Jamaica has really been on the radar.
