“Figures and shapes are found consistently throughout your work. What is the inspiration behind this?”

"I'm very attracted and influenced by the primordial female figure, as well as the primary geometric shapes. Many of my projects are about the feminine image, the mysterious and magical feminine nature and its connection to the earth. I am inspired by the primitive and ancient paintings and sculptures. My work is exclusively connected to the things that give me real pleasure - cultural history, philosophy, mythology, nature… that is the basis of my exploration. In the creative process I always think about the root, where I start from and why, then for the interaction and the physical experience of the work. I’m interested about how objects create context but are also part of a common nature. Тhis connection is very strongly felt in primitive and ancient cultures where art tries always to satisfy men’s religious or spiritual needs."

“Your three favourite meals to cook are: ”

"I love to cook, is one of my greatest passions. I prefer simple vegetarian dishes, salads with fresh organic vegetables, nuts and local products. We really like the lightness and taste of the Mediterranean cuisine and especially Italian - pasta, bruschetti, good bread, artisanal mozzarella and basil. I love to experiment with vegan and keto pastries. One of my favourite recipes is keto cake made of almond flour, coconut oil and matcha tea."

“What are some of your slow living rituals and how do they enrich your life? ”

"Time is the most valuable thing we have and for that reason we should spend it on the things we love. We must not compromise in the name of a distant future. There is only Here and Now, and that is why we must be fully and consciously present in the moment. Slow rituals are a long walk along the beach on Sunday, reading and writing poetry, painting, making love for hours….good things require time and attention."

“How does travel influence your poetry or art?”

"The modern world is spinning fast and is gradually becoming “naked of myths”, while the soul continues to need its stories. For me travelling is a way to collect stories, inspirations. In my opinion there are two types of poets - those who are very inspired by the inner experience of situations and people, music and the other who are inspired trough their eyes, by what they see…аnd even though Andy Warhol said - it would be wonderful if people fell in love without seeing, I believe that both inspiration and love are connected to visual impression and contemplation."
